Urgent PERMANENT Requirements - Top Tier Investment Banks
The product controllers will have the opportunity to have a full front to back role, with continuous interaction with senior management and front office.
Being part of this expanding team, you will gain business exposure in products and change improvements. Internal mobility in other product control teams, projects, valuations or other finance functions will be an opportunity in the long term as well as potential permanent opportunities in the future should the need arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production and review of daily Pnl including understanding risk positions and market moves for P&L explanation
- Enhancement of systems and control framework
- review front to back reconciliation and control sub ledger P&L and balances
- review and substantiate the balance sheet
- Month-end Price testing
- Participate in projects to drive improvements in controls and efficiency
- Face off with traders and resolve pnl issues
Key Qualifications:
- 1-5 years work experience in investments banks within product control
- Understanding of basic accounting standards / processes
- Candidates from the Big4 auditing in the financial services will be considered
- Good communication skills and a motivation to learn
- Derivatives product knowledge
