Due to an internal promotion, a market leading General Insurance company is currently seeking an experienced State Manager to head up their Corporate Property team in their Brisbane OR Sydney office. Our client has a reputation in the market for developing their staff by offering excellent career opportunities whilst also offering an excellent salary and a great work environment.
Working as the Queensland or NSW State Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a large portfolio of Property risks
- Managing a small team of Property Underwriters
- Building and cultivating relationships with key local and international brokers
- New business development
- Management of the renewal process
In order to be successful in this role, you will have previous experience as a Senior Property Underwriter / Manager. You will be a strong communicator who builds relationships well and preferably with team management experience. It is essential that you have a great attitude and are hungry to succeed in this space. You will have good analytical and risk assessment skills.
