Overall responsibility
The candidate should be a knowledge base for the branch and the product assigned. He should be consistently taking quality initiatives in the areas of research, knowledge and training. His efforts should be guided by the aim of assisting traders do better in their performance. The candidate shall have the opportunity to evaluate and analyze the relevant domain thoroughly, and also travel overseas to our different offices as may be required.
Required
The candidate is required to have a minimum 4 years of work experience in fundamental analysis of world energy markets (should have advanced level knowledge of day-to-day working on Brent market and European gasoil markets, and their spreads). Following skill shall be considered as plus: -
Knowledge of Asian energy (crude oil and gasoil) markets and US energy markets (crude oil and gasoil) is a plus,Prior knowledge and experience of usage of technical analysis,Knowledge of natural gas markets will be preferred,People with relevant work experience (of analytics in and for a trading environment) will be preferred,Excellent analytical skills,Additional educational qualifications relevant to the field (like CFA, MBA etc.) might be preferred,Excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills.
