We require an experienced investment analytics consultant to be the first point of contact for clients in regards to their requirements for information. You are not the subject matter expert, but you are the first person the client talks to, sees and communicates on matters around performance attribution, mandate compliance, portfolio analytics, risk and reporting. You must be able to understand why a client needs a certain piece of information. Your clients will be Funds & Asset managers, Insurance companies, Superannuation funds, Actuarial firms and Property Funds.
The team has a good mixture of youth and experience and really relies on the team members to proactively solve problems, service clients and up-sell the firms services. Being one of the largest providers of investment analytics to the global funds management industry, it's not a hard job to sell the additional services.
But, let's get straight to the point. This role is suitable for the following people:
- You have worked in a Funds Manager, Vendor (asset or funds management systems), Custodian or a Brokerage
- You understand, have experience with and have covered most roles within the back and middle office
- You have demonstrable knowledge of performance calculation, attribution analysis, mandate compliance and reporting
- You have superior relationship building skills and regularly wish to have more client contact, exposure to negotiation and problem solving
- You want to work in an organisation that provides diverse work, regularly places you in clients sites and pushes you to learn more
