PwC China maintains a European Business Group (EBG) with representatives in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Our European Business Group members come from all parts of Europe and are highly trained professionals with qualifications as CPA, licensed tax advisors, or lawyers. We are well connected within our international network and have direct access to technical resources of the respective PwC member firms in Europe, thus perfectly equipped to respond to your needs. Our European Business Group will provide you with all information and support to make your move a success.
Job description and responsibilities:
You will be an important part of our EBG. Your clients will be European invested companies. You will make sure that these clients are served to the highest standards of our profession. You have lived in Germany or France for many years and want to return to China. Your language skills and understanding of the cultural differences will contribute to the success of our Chinese EBG.
As an assurance associate, you will: - Audit clients' accounts and report to shareholders on the financial status of the company;
- Appraise the effectiveness of clients' financial systems;
- Consult clients to solve other complex business problems;
- Learn and apply international accounting standards; and
- Support firmwide initiatives for our European business in China and our fast expanding Chinese business in Europe.
With growing experience within PwC you will also be involved in more cross-border collaboration between the China and the European firms, whereby building your own personal international network among colleagues like for example in coordinating international audits.
Requirements:
We are looking for graduates from any discipline of German or French universities (bachelor or master), who can demonstrate: - Chinese language skills equivalent to native speaker, combined with strong English language skills;
- Good command of German or French language;
- Experience and interest in dealing with people from different cultures;
- Commercial orientation;
- Communication / interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge and innovation;
- Influencing skills / leadership potential;
- Problem solving potential and decision making skills;
- Organisation skills;
- Energy and drive;
- High sense of integrity; and
