About Tax:
PwC Tax advisors assist a wide-range of clients; from prominent individuals to multi-national corporations. They not only help clients on their tax planning and on filing their corporate and individual tax returns but they also advise on, international taxation, mergers and acquisitions and transfer pricing matters.


About International Tax Services (ITS):
The International Tax Services group provides a full spectrum of international tax services to Chinese domestic companies investing and operating globally.


Job description and responsibilities:

The ITS group in Beijing is looking for Managers to join them in further developing their fast growing and dynamic international tax services practice.

Working closely with more senior members of the group, the successful candidate(s) will support (and later lead) key client service teams in advising some of the country's premier clients on the structuring of their cross border activities. As well as offering tax consulting and transaction support on a range of assignments, the candidate will be expected to play an active role in business development and the development of more junior members of the team.

Reporting structure and key relationships:
Report to Senior Manager, Director/Partner


Requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience in dealing with technical tax issues; with particular focus on cross-border transactions;
  • Previous experience in an international tax practice within a professional services firm, industry, government agency and/or law firm;
  • Ability to work well within a team;
  • Resourceful and self starting with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical, skills;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both English and Chinese; and
  • Strong coaching and interpersonal skills.
