Job description and responsibilities
- Work in Tax Controversy Service Team and assist managers and senior managers in handling tax controversy cases, including but not limited to tax audits, tax ruling application, tax benefit claims, etc.;
- Conduct research relating to tax issues; and
- Assist managers and senior managers to build up and maintain relationships with tax officials at various levels.
Reporting structure and key relationships:
Associate: Report to senior associate and manager
Senior associate: Report to manager and senior manager
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree;
- 1 to 5 years experience in tax public practice will be an advantage;
- Qualified member of a professional accounting body would be an advantage;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Putonghua;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Confident with a strong business sense;
- Strong analytical skills and organising skills;
- Good project management skills; and
- A team player with good interpersonal skills, self-initiated and results-oriented.
