About Global Technology Solutions firmwide applications - Application development centre & application quality assurance
Global Technology Solution ("GTS") is the firm's internal IT department. Firmwide applications is responsible for applying cutting edge technology for various IT initiatives and provide effective software solutions to meet the firm's business needs and challenges, optimising the productivity and process efficiency, as well as providing end users with the best practice experience. It also creates the technology blueprint for enterprise systems, which will integrate and leverage business information across the enterprise and to external systems. Application development centre ("ADC") and application quality assurance ("AQA") are two of the business units of GTS firmwide applications. ADC is responsible for application development and implementation, whereas AQA is responsible for application quality assurance and process improvement. Both BUs provide services to CaTSH (China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong) region, and also work with PwC Global territories. We are one of the world-class application development and quality assurance services team for our internal / external and global customers. Our team members are located in Beijing and Hong Kong. Main technologies adopted are ASP.NET, SQL Server, Sharepoint, Flex and Lotus Notes etc. We also adopted both traditional and Agile development methodology.
Job description and responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in the design, development and delivery of business solutions;
- Conduct comprehensive systems analysis and design based on user requirements;
- Participate in the design, development, testing and deployment of software applications;
- Write systems and programming documentations;
- Provide on-going support and maintenance of existing applications;
- Technical environment:
- ASP.net team: ASP.Net, #C, Web Parts, AJAX, Web Service, XML, Reporting Service, SQL Server etc.;
- Sharepoint team: Sharepoint 2010;
- Flex team: Flex, Actionscript 3, Web Service, XML etc. and;
- Database team: SQL Server, T-SQL etc.

Reporting to: Global Technology Solutions manager
Requirements:
